• 3-4 asparagus per bundle (snap off ends and soak off the sand)
  • ½ slice thick bacon per bundle (cut bacon slice in half with scissors)
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil (spray OK)
  • Balsamic vinegar (put vinegar into a squirt bottle to control flow)

Wrap bacon around asparagus and tuck under one stalk
Brush lightly or spray bundles with extra virgin olive oil
Bake 375˚F on baking sheet for 10 minutes, turn over, bake 4 more minutes
Place under low broiler until bacon sizzles
Drizzle with balsamic vinegar before serving

Watch them fly off the plate.

Drizzle and serve.

  2. OK, I know you love your bacon…The presentation is gorgeous, and your photo’s are fabulous. This sounds delicious on its own, minus the farm animal. Could we wrap them with a rice noodle, red pepper ribbons or another alternative that doesnt have a face…
