“Krampus” is the untamed, shaggy spirit that accompanies St. Nicholas and can be seen throughout the Bavarian and Austrian alpine region during the Advent season. Searching out the children that haven’t been good!
They look and act frightening and scary!
Krampusses usually roam in larger groups. Their traditional costumes and masks are elaborately handcrafted and handed down through families. Krampusses can usually be encountered on and a few days before December 6.
So you better watch out!
And if you’ve been good…
Now where did I put the mistletoe?
I love it!! They are crazy looking much scarier then know gifts!!
Where do I get a Krampuss confection in Chicago?
My kids could use a reality check.
Wow! That Krampuss is really creepy!
Wow, you are spending the holidays in Austria? That’s cool!
Hope St. Nick visited you last night!
